The 18-hole, par 72 course at Buffalo Dunes features 6,767 yards of golf from the longest tees. The course rating is 72.5 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Blue grass. Designed by Frank Hummel, the Buffalo Dunes golf course opened in 1976. Lined with cottonwood trees and even a windmill, the course offers little protection from the West Kansas breeze. One of the top courses in the area, Buffalo dunes is an enjoyable challenge to novices as well as seasoned veterans.
